Six fined after 'party' broken up in Peterborough

Six people have been fined after a 'party' was broken up at a house in Peterborough.

Police were called to the address in Eye Green in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A police spokesman said: "In the early hours of this morning (Sunday) officers from E Relief attended a small gathering in Eye Green.

"The homeowner was adamant she was not having a party besides her being the only person that lived at the address, disco lights in the living room and alcohol and mixer bottles everywhere.

"The occupants were given the opportunity to ask us any questions to clarify the rules but decided they knew they were in the wrong and apologised before leaving."
