There are currently 188 patients with coronavirus in hospitals run by the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust (Peterborough City, Hinchingbrooke and Stamford & Rutland). a number that has been increasing in recent weeks.
The trust has not yet received the new Oxford COVID vaccine, and it is not known when any will arrive as the national roll out continues. Peterborough City Hospital has been named as a vaccine hub during the pandemic, and started delivering the Pfizer vaccine last month.

A new NHS 111 pilot has been launched in the Emergency Department at Peterborough City Hospital to help ensure patients get the right care in the right place and to reduce the waiting times for people who have urgent and emergency needs.
Graham Wilde, Chief Operating Officer at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, said: “We have seen a sharp increase in the number of patients with Covid-19 presenting at our
hospitals as community transmission rates increase, and we have robust plans in place across our hospital sites to help us manage increased pressures that the winter season
always brings.

treatment centres and NHS 111, which can provide advice if you’re unsure.”
