Five Peterborough neighbourhoods record at least three positive COVID tests last week

Five areas of Peterborough recorded at least three positive COVID tests in the past week.

In the seven days ending on Friday, Orton Malborne, Fletton, Peterborough Central, Central Park and Millfield & Bourges Boulevard all posted four or more tests.
The previous week just three neighbourhoods in Peterborough posted at least three positive tests.

Last week, Central Park had the highest number of positive tests, with 12, compared with seven the previous week.

Peterborough Central had six positive tests, Millfield & Bourges Boulevard five, with Fletton and Orton Malborne having four positive tests each.

Outside Peterborough, there were also three positive tests recorded in Stamford North.

Residents who have a new continuous cough, a high temperature and/or a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia) must self isolate for at least 10 days from when your symptoms started, and arrange to get a COVID test.

There are testing centres across the city, with a permanent centre at the East of England Showground.

There are also mobile centres open at: The Pyramid Community Centre, Bretton tomorrow (10 September) and Gladstone Park Community Centre on Sunday (September 13).
