Peterborough primary school shut for second time due to mice infestation
A Peterborough primary school is shut for a second time due to mice infestation.
Pupils at Leighton Primary in Orton Malborne have been told today (Friday, January 13) not to come into the school.
The school also shut for a nearly a week in late November/early December due to the same problem.
Hayley Sutton, headteacher at Leighton Primary School, said: “We have taken the precaution of closing the school today after a sighting of mice in the school this morning.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this closure may cause and we are working with environmental health officers and pest control experts today to deal with the situation.”
