Bryan Erwin praised the work done at the school during the disrupted year. He said: “I am delighted to celebrate with the students, their families, and the staff of Ken Stimpson Community School involved in the ongoing raising of academic achievement, progress at Ken Stimpson Sixth Form for the fifth year in a row.

“Despite the lack of examinations this year, the superb outcomes received reflect the hard work of staff, students, and parents/carers. These set of results at A-Level, AS level, and Level 3 ensures all of our students will progress to their next destination, a key factor in our purpose for 16-18 provision at Ken Stimpson Community School.

“Finally, whilst it is a tradition to celebrate the highest performing students (and there are many to list this year); I wish to pay my respect to every single student that has received an outcome that reflects their true ability. This is despite facing adversity which has not been of theirs or the school’s making.”
