Peterborough A Levels: Head’s praise for pupils during ‘challenging’ year at The King’s School

The head teacher at The King’s (The Cathedral) School has praised the efforts of students for the work during a ‘challenging’ year as they pick up their A Level results.

Head teacher Darren Ayling, said: “During an exceptionally challenging period of uncertainty, I’d like to pay tribute to all of our students today.

“We must remember how hard they worked during their A Level courses and how much they deserve their success today.

“We have all been anxious that they secure the grades they deserve and that they are ready for the exciting next steps in their academic and professional careers. With the outcomes they deserve, the resilience they have shown, and the employability skills which they have successfully developed, we know they will go on to achieve great things. No schools in Peterborough are expected to release statistics on grades achieved by students this year, as a result of the different way grades have been finalised as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic
