Stamford Endowed Schools

We are very proud of our Stamford High School students who have had not had the easiest path to GCSEs over the last two years. However, our students have shown tremendous tenacity and determination in achieving excellent results.

We look forward to welcoming them all back next week as they start the next exciting phase of their education!”

Let’s kick things off with the Stamford Endowed Schools

Students achieved 57% of every grade classified at the very highest grades of 9, 8 or 7 and nearly nine out of ten of all grades being classified as 9 to 5.

At Stamford High School 62% of grades were at 9, 8 and 7 with Stamford School achieving 53% at the same grades.

Across the two schools, 194 students completed assessments for 1,802 individual qualifications in 29 different subjects.

Over a third of the cohort achieved at least five, 9s and 8s or higher, with 34 students achieving nine grade 9s or more.

After A Level results Day this week, this time it is the turn of GSCE results for schools across Peterborough.

The results will filter in throughout the morning so stay tuned to see how pupils at all of the city’s schools fared.
