Twenty jobs created at new showroom opened by Peterborough Mayor today

Wren Kitchens have officially opened their new showroom that will bring 20 new jobs into the city.

The showroom at Boulevard Retail park has now opened its doors after a ceremony conducted by Mayor of Peterborough Gul Nawaz at 9am this morning.

As part of the opening, the company also decided to donate £500 to charity, one the Mayor will select himself, as a contribution to the local area.

Customers will be able to browse 74 full size kitchen displays, an appliance studio showcasing major brands and an interior design studio.

They will also have access to Wren's brand new award-winning dual screen 3D software. This will allow customers to use a VR headset to experience the feeling of walking around and opening drawers and doors in their new kitchen.

This is the company's 96th showroom as they continue to expand across the UK and the jobs created will be in the retail, design and surveying sectors.
