Price cuts in place at Laura Ashley in Peterborough as it re-opens for closing down sale
The fashion chain has just re-opened its outlet at the Bretton Shopping Park following the 12 weeks lockdown closure.
But managers say the store has only been re-opened to allow it to start the closing down sale.

Hide AdA spokeswoman for the retailer, which began life in the 1950s, said: “Our extensive closing down sale launches with at least 50 per cent off fashion in-store and online plus all furniture with 30 per cent off.
“There are some fantastic deals to be found in-store.
“Everything has been reduced and has to go, including stock being cleared from the warehouse.”
A date has not been given for the store’s closure.
She added: We are extremely mindful of the current Covid crisis and customers can be assured that the store will be Covid secure.”
The store has put in place social distancing measures with a limited number of shoppers allowed in the store at any time.

Hide AdRegular deep cleaning will be carried out and payment by card is encouraged.
Laura Ashley went into administration earlier this year after the failure of rescue talks as Covid-19 struck.
US restructuring and investment firm Gordon Brothers acquired its brand, its archives and related intellectual property.
The brand will continue to trade online at www.lauraashley.com and at retailers nationally.
