Peterborough clothing retailer continues expansion overseas

Yours Clothing, named as the UK’s fastest growing plus-size fashion retailer, has expanded its international operations with the new 1,500 sq ft store in Thier-Galerie shopping mall, in Dortmund, creating eight jobs.

The store opens on Saturday and comes four months after the firm launched its German language e-commerce website.

Yours Clothing plans to open other stores in Germany and across Europe as part of its international growth plans.

Karen Luton, retail director, said: “We’re delighted to be opening our first standalone German store, following the growing appetite for the brand in Germany and positive response from customers online.”

Yours Clothing, which operates more than 145 stores in the UK and overseas, reported a 22 per cent growth in revenues to £88.3 million for the year to the end of January this year.

Its international sales rose by 48 per cent.
