There were long queues in Peterborough this morning as hundreds of shoppers returned to the city as centre.
With more businesses being able to open as a result of lockdown restrictions being eased, there were snaking, socially distanced lines, across the city centre.

Hide AdPrimark and TK Maxx proved very popular, with all shops introducing measures to keep staff and customers safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Some shops have remained closed, with John Lewis in Queensgate one of several to keep the shutters down for the time being.
Wardens will be visible in the city to ensure people keep socially distanced from each other.
