Panto treat for Peterborough schools and care homes
Plans are currently well underway at The Cresset for their socially distanced pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk. But social distancing means schools, care homes and other groups which have been regular pantogoers down the years aren’t able to attend.
All is not lost though! The team at The Cresset are determined nobody should miss out on the joy of panto, and are offering a fantastic opportunity to these groups. Thanks to their grant from the Culture Recovery Fund, they will be recording the show, in full, and making it available to selected schools and care homes in the Peterborough area free of charge!

Schools, early years settings and residential care homes can apply and if approved will be sent a code to purchase a complimentary viewing ticket.
Head of Cresset Commercial Activities, Penny Hansen said: “We know so many schools and groups who usually come to our show will be unable to visit this year, and so we are delighted to be able to share the performance with them thanks to the Culture Recovery Fund. We hope this brings a little joy this Christmas, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to The Cresset in person for next year’s pantomime; Beauty & the Beast!”
To sign up your school or care home, simply email [email protected] from an organisation email address with your intended viewing date and the Box Office team will process your booking.
The show will be available to view until 30 December 2020.
