Professional speakers get a home of their own in the East of England
The Professional Speaking Association launches a new East of England region, meeting monthly in Huntingdon from January 2027, with free taster sessions in Cambridge, Peterborough and St Neots this November.

Speakers, trainers, coaches and consultants across Cambridgeshire and the wider East of England will no longer need to travel to London or the Midlands to connect with their profession. The Professional Speaking Association (PSA), the UK and Ireland's professional body for people who speak for a living, is launching a new East of England region.
The region will meet in Huntingdon on the third Tuesday of every month, starting on Tuesday 19 January 2027. Meetings will offer practical sessions on speaking skills and on building a speaking business, alongside the chance to connect with others working in the field.
The PSA was founded in 1999 and was the first member of what is now the Global Speakers Federation. Its aim is to help people "Speak More, Speak Better and Build a Speaking Business". It welcomes keynote speakers, trainers, MCs, after dinner speakers, coaches and consultants who speak professionally, as well as those who want to. Until now, it has had no regional group in the East of England.
Ahead of the launch, the region is holding three free taster sessions in November in Cambridge, Peterborough and St Neots. Anyone curious about professional speaking is welcome to come along, meet the team and find out what the new region will offer.
Sarah Stones, Regional President of the new PSA East of England and founder of St Neots-based Plain Sailing Motivation, said: "The East of England is full of talented people who speak for a living, or would love to, but many of them are working on their own. This new region gives them a place to learn, share and grow without a long trip to London. Whether you are an experienced keynote speaker or giving your first talk, you will find a warm welcome in our new region."
