Peterborough dog groomer nominated for Groomer Of The Year

My dog grooming business Paws 4 Effect opened last January (2025) and ever since then I have managed to spread my name throughout the city and even the county as one of the best 1 to 1 dog groomers around.

I have an amazing amount of 5" reviews across Facebook and Google, and I pride myself on being able to provide a totally bespoke service for dog owners in Peterborough and the local area by offering totally 1 to 1 dog grooming from my home salon based on the new Manor Drive estate.

It is an incredible feat to be able to say that I am now a finalist in the Animal Star Awards as it's something that I always wanted, but never truly thought would happen.

One of my key selling points to many owners is my ability to work with reactive dogs as well as banned breeds, and over time gain a bond with all of my four legged clients, no matter how big or small, because I honestly believe that all dogs deserve a chance at feeling fresh, and smelling gorgeous.

I am one of the first dog groomers to pass the Level 4 Qualification in Dog Grooming and Salon Management, and I feel that this has helped me massively in my first year, as this has helped many new customers gain a great level of trust.

I would never have managed to get to where I am today without the help of my Fiancé Kieran, who has helped build the business (literally with this bare hands!) and keep me on the right track.

One day, I hope to move my home based business into a permanent salon, and maybe even open a dog friendly café alongside!
