Bannatyne Health Club & Spa Peterborough has added a Japanese Head Spa to its range of treatments, designed to combine scalp care with relaxation.

The therapy uses a mix of gentle water application, scalp treatments and massage, aiming to ease tension and support overall wellbeing.

The club says the treatment focuses on both physical relaxation and scalp health, with techniques intended to help stimulate circulation and reduce stress.

Karen Wilkinson, managing director at the Bannatyne Group, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be bringing the Japanese Head Spa to Peterborough. This treatment is about much more than hair and scalp care, it is a full sensory journey designed to ease tension, improve scalp health and leave guests feeling completely reset. Holistic wellbeing is at the heart of what we do, and this is a truly special addition to our spa offering.”

Head spa treatments, which originate from Japan, have grown in popularity in recent years as a way of combining hair and scalp care with relaxation techniques.

The Peterborough club said the addition forms part of ongoing efforts to expand its spa offering.

Duncan Bannatyne, chairman and chief executive of the Bannatyne Group, added: “We are continually investing in new treatments and facilities to ensure our members and guests enjoy the very best in health, fitness and relaxation. The introduction of the Japanese Head Spa at Peterborough underlines our commitment to supporting holistic wellbeing within our clubs.”
