The presentation will be taking place on Thursday 25th June at 2pm, and guests will have a chance to learn about the various types of fraud, scams and an overview on how to stay safe online.

General Manager Katie Wilkinson said: “We’re really looking forward to having the Cybercrime and Fraud Prevention team come in for the presentation. Many of our residents at the home use their own devices so it is important that we are finding new ways to protect them. It is also an opportunity for the wider community to come to the home and learn about what is such an important topic. Here at Bayleaf Care Home we are always looking at new ways that we can provide support and advice about care to anyone who needs it. If anyone is unable to make it on the day but would like to pop in for a tour and a cup of tea, our doors are always open.”

Bayleaf Care Home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, which is committed to delivering high-quality care across its care homes and hospitals. Bayleaf Care Home provides residential care and dementia care for 53 residents ranging from short-term respite care through to longer term stays.
