Local care home residents fly the flag for VE Day

Residents at Werrington Lodge in Peterborough have celebrated VE Day by flying the Union Jack all over the home. The residents enjoyed a party for VE Day where they enjoyed musical entertainment with lots of laughter.

They reminisced over old times and the gents had a whale of a time blowing the vuvuzela horn! Resident Ambassador Brian made sure he got an oversized hand to wave at everyone and said they all had a lovely time.
