Bayleaf care home celebrates Easter in style
Staff and residents at Barchester’s Bayleaf Care Home, in Huntingdon, celebrated Easter with a whole host of different activities including gospel singing, an Easter Egg Hunt and special Easter Lunch prepared by the home’s head chef Stephane Roqueta.
Residents at the home have spent the previous week getting the home ready with some Easter themed decorations and staff at the home have been placing special easter eggs throughout Huntingdon as part of a town-wide easter egg hunt. There was also a Good Friday Fish and Chip lunch for the residents and visitors.

General Manager, Katie WIlkinson said: “As always, we’ve all been looking forward to Easter. It’s such a lovely time of year – the residents love all the colourful Easter eggs and it was so nice to watch the residents enjoying the singing. It’s really been an eggs-cellent few days!”
Margaret Davies, resident at Bayleaf Care Home said: “It has been so lovely to spend time with my new friends at the home this Easter, though like every Easter, I think I’ve eaten too much chocolate! It was so wonderful to see everyone go to so much effort. I really enjoyed the entire weekend.”
