Summer activities to take place at Ferry Meadows

Youngsters are being invited to take part in a range of summer activities at Ferry Meadows.

From Saturday (July 18) Nene Park Trust are launching some activities and trails for the six weeks of school summer holidays to keep all the family busy and entertained.

The Park Explore Challenge is aimed at younger children (5-12 year olds) and their families, and will start from Monday July 20.

The challenges will take families out to different areas across Nene Park and will involve activities such as puzzles, quizzes and spotter games in each of the different areas.

The Big Summer Hunt is aimed at older children and their families,and will see participants busily solving puzzles across Nene Park and having the chance to win exciting prize. Each Saturday, starting from the July 18 a new clue will be announced. These will range from riddles, puzzles or picture clues which will lead you to a landmark in an area of Nene Park. To have a chance of winning a weekly prize or the overall competition you will need to register your details

on the trust’s online booking system.

There will also be archery, watersports and cycle activities taking place throughout the holidays, and even a pop up campsite.
