The process to transform the Embankment into a bustling venue to host one of the city’s most popular events and one of the biggest Beer Fest’s in the country has begun.
Significant progress has already been made on constructing the main marquee.
The position of the tent has had to be shifted slightly this year due to ongoing works on Cygnet Bridge but the building site is completely fenced off and will not effect the running of the festival.
The annual event will return on Tuesday August 25 to Saturday August 29.
Organised by CAMRA, the festival is expected to welcome around 25,000 visitors across the week.
This year’s festival will include new additions including an Independent UK Lager Bar and a US Cask Bar with over 50 selections to choose from.
The Peterborough Telegraph is running a free competition to giveaway free tickets.
