Breakfast broadcast duo Ros & Josh are back as Star Radio launches in Peterborough
Ros Webb and Josh Lovatt have returned to Peterborough on Star Breakfast and want listeners’ help to shape the sound of the show.
For the breakfast presenters it’s a welcome return to the Greater Peterborough airwaves, after their previous popular stint on Heart until mid-2019.
Ros said: “We really missed joining in with all fun stuff around Peterborough, from The Lido to the amazing atmosphere in Cathedral Square when the Christmas lights go on. And who could forget when Josh abseiled down Peterborough Cathedral live on air?”
Josh said: “We’re excited to bring our breakfast banter back to the city on Star Radio and speak to our Peterborough listeners again – they’re so much fun!”
Star Radio’s now the sole commercial radio station based in, and broadcasting to, the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough area, playing an upbeat mix of songs from the 70s, 80s and 90s, with a comprehensive local news and travel service.
And now the station’s up and running in Peterborough, Ros and Josh are asking what you want to hear on the city’s newest local breakfast show.
Josh said: “Whether there’s a favourite feature you’d like us to bring back, you want to hear more 80s music or you think we should do more travel news, tell us what your perfect morning show sounds like!”
