Tickets go on sale for Peterborough Truckfest

Tickets for the re-organised Peterborough Truckfest have gone on sale.

The event is one of the biggest in the Peterborough calendar, and normally takes place at the beginning of May - however it was postponed due to the panedmic earlier this year.

Now it is due to take place at the East of England Showground on August 30 and August 31.

The event will include the normal attractions of monster truck and motorcycle displays, fun fair rides and shopping stalls that bring thousands of visitors through the gates every year.

Organisers have said ‘necessary health and safety guidelines and Covid-19 precautions’ will be in place,

Event Director Bob Limming said: “Our team have worked tirelessly to make sure we bring you the event you have grown to love over the past 30 years or more. Whenever we ask our visitors why they come to Truckfest the reply is always the same ”we’ve come for the Trucks” and we promise you we will still have lots of trucks and lots of family fun for all the family at Truckfest 2020, we ask you this year to pre-book online and you can do so on the TRUCKFEST web site where you will of course enjoy the pre- booking discount. Your advanced ticket will also ensure swifter entry into the event.”

The Peterborough Telegraph has contacted the organisers of the event regarding measures to keep visitors coronavirus safe, and ensure social distancing measures are complied with.
