Something for young and old

First up there is KYTots for the little ones who are starting to demonstrate their unique performance skills and is aimed at those aged 18months to three years.

Maybe they are shy and need a little confidence building?

Either way, this might be the answer – a music, movement and drama-based, 
storytelling session being held at the Key Theatre on The Embankment on Fridays from 10am to 11am.

It incorporates lots of engaging activities to build confidence and develop co-ordination and rhythm using a variety of props and games. 

This class allows the child to start with Kindred Drama, accompanied by a parent or carer, to enable a smooth transition to the KYTeenies (3-6 year olds) group in the future.

The new term starts tomorrow (Jan 15) with a free trial session. The cost is then £45 per term.

However, if you are fed up with the kids having all the fun, now it’s your turn.

In response to popular demand, Kindred Drama are starting a singing group purely for our talented adults – Kindred Chorus.

The sessions will be run by the same fantastic team who are responsible for bringing home the Peterborough 
Music Festival Dudley Cup, for the last three consecutive years.

You don’t have to be a skilled singer, just go along with the enthusiasm to enjoy yourself for an hour or so - there will be a repertoire of well-known songs with stunning harmonies for you to learn and sing with the group (or when you get back in the car on the way home).

Kindred Chorus gets under way tonight at 7.45pm (until 9pm) at the Key Theatre, Further sessions will be held on January 21 and 28, February 4, 11 and 25 and March 3, 10, 17 and 24.

Cost: £45 a term or £5 a session.

There will also be tea and coffee available on your arrival!
