Peterborough show dedicated to the music of Thin Lizzy
Four bands will take to the stage at Peterborough’s Parkway Club as the Dedication 20 show pays tribute to Thin Lizzy and Phil Lynott on Saturday.
As the show name suggests this will be the 20th year of celebrating legendary frontman Phil – the man and his music – and the band here in the city.
Doors open at 5.30pm and the show starts at 6.20pm, running through to midnight.
Show organiser Terry Naraine said: “Our four-band 20th Anniversary show this year is scheduled to be our last and we have really something special to bring you with possibly our strongest ever line up as the bands play in memory of Phil Lynott and Philomena Lynott (Phil’s mum who attended many of the Dedication shows before passing away in 2019).”

This years headliners will be Peterborough’s only Thin Lizzy tribute band Lizzy On The Loose, who have been the backbone of many of the past 19 Dedication shows.
The band have specially reformed (having split up last year) to play this show and again promise something really special themed around Thin Lizzy’s classic live album Live and Dangerous from 1978.
Special guests will be popular five-piece female fronted Peterborough band 2020 Vision, who will be playing plenty of classic rock covers.
Black Rose (Society) from Northampton return again, having celebrated their 35th anniversary as as band in 2023. They wrote themselves into Dedication show folklore 18 years ago, (at The Cresset), when they played the whole of the last Thin Lizzy studio album from 1983 Thunder and Lightning plus a greatest hits set.

They are promising something really special for this year’s show by playing the iconic namesake Thin Lizzy’s Róisín Dubh (Black Rose): A Rock Legend studio album in full!
Released in 1979, it has been described as one of the band's "greatest, most successful albums", as part of a 60 minute set that will also include some Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzy chart and selected album tracks squeezed In!
Last but certainly not least, opening this year’s show and playing a full 60-minute set, new and exciting Peterborough four-piece band Rhubarb Bridge, whose line up includes show sponsor Jez Bush (Peterborough Guitar Tech) and Paul Douglas (also from Lizzy On The Loose).
All proceeds from the show will go again this year to the NHS.

There will also be Phil Lynott, Thin Lizzy memorabilia raffle, a custom-built guitar raffle and a unique one only Phil Lynott drum skin to be auctioned on the night
Tickets priced £10 are available in advance from Terry Naraine on 07796 250071, [email protected] or direct from the club in Maskew Avenue or on the door on the night of the show.
“Thank you for your continued support over the years for what promises again to be a great night of live music again in Peterborough in memory of Phil Lynott and Philomena Lynott,” added Terry.
