The classic tale of the boy who refused to grow up is a perennial favourite and this Christmas will be given the Cresset panto treatment as they present a swashbuckling spectacular for all the family.

The star cast is to be announced, and there will be some fantastic opportunities for local young performers as The Cresset start the search for lost boys and pirates!

Join Peter and Wendy and let your imagination fly as they travel to Neverland and do battle with the dastardly Captain Hook and the pirates. A sprinkle of fairy dust sees Peter take to the air in stunning flying sequences, and audiences can expect all the usual pantomime magic with plenty of audience participation, music and laughter.

The original author of Peter Pan, J.M.Barrie, gifted the rights to the Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital in 1929.

This incredible gift means that for every pantomime ticket sold at The Cresset, a percentage will go to this amazing charity.

Penny Hansen, Commercial Support Manager at The Cresset said: “We’re thrilled to be putting on Peter Pan this year. It’s such a wonderful story, and the association with Great Ormond Street means we have this great opportunity to support a charity which helps so many sick children. It’s going to be a stunning show, from the minute you see Peter fly I promise you’ll be hooked!”

Peter Pan runs from December 10 to 30. Tickets on sale from 10am on Monday, February 29. Contact the Box Office: 01733 265705. Book Online: www.cresset.co.uk
