Hear some magical festive songs - and don’t forget that Christmas jumper

Following the Government announcement that Peterborough will be subject to Tier 2 restrictions post-lockdown, the city’s popular festive celebration - Christmas Magic at Peterborough Cathedral - is set to go ahead as planned on Saturday, December 12, with three family-friendly performances, at 11am, 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

After an uncertain year, with fresh concerns raised by the second national lockdown, this is fantastic news for Peterborough and its multi-award winning choirs Peterborough Male Voice Choir and Peterborough Voices, and a wonderful opportunity for them to return to performing with one of their best-loved events of the year.

Christmas Magic offers a rare opportunity to see some large-scale live music locally in a truly stunning setting and organisers Peterborough Sings! are delighted to have been able to work with the team at Peterborough Cathedral to make this possible. For safety and peace of mind of audience and performers performances will be covid-secure with social distancing and other measures in place.
