Gigs to look out for in Peterborough this weekend

With the rules governing hospitality being relaxed on Monday, live music in the city’s pubs and bars is set to take off.

But when outdoor hospitality was allowed on April 12, a number of venues launched outdoor sets – and that continues this weekend.

THE YARD OF ALE, on Oundle Road, Woodston, is one such place, with a series of sell-out performances since April 19.

This weekend they have C J Hatt (pictured) on Friday and Jordon Poole on Saturday. Booking is recommended.

THE WOOLPACK, in Stanground, has also enjoyed sell-outs with the likes of the Dizzy Miss Lizzys, Velocity, Dan Poole and The Contacts performing in the marquee in recent weeks.

This weekend they have Christian Smith on Sunday at 2.15pm. Check for availability.

THE HOUSE OF FEASTS at Eye Green has a double bill of entertainment on Saturday. From 3pm there is a live DJ set from Conservatory Sessions and from 6pm performing live are reggae band Tallawah,

The following week (May 23) CHARTERS launches its Sunday Sessions in the beer garden for 2021 – more on that next week but there is an eclectic and exciting line-up to look forward to.

THE BURGHLEY CLUB welcomes local favourites The Nuggets on May 22 as it reopens. Look out for Velocity and Children of the Revolution in coming weeks.
