Community theatre superheroes needed in Stamford

Stamford Corn Exchange Theatre is approaching its busiest season on record, and is on the lookout for more helpers to run shows.

The charity continues to grow by the year, and is asking ‘do you want to be a superhero for our community theatre?’

"We're on the hunt for volunteers to save the day (and night) in all areas of our charity,” said a spokesperson. “Got mad social media skills? Can you spare a few hours a month to help in our box office, front of house, or pour pints like a pro at our auditorium bar? And, bonus! You can even learn new skills in technical and stage management.”

Anyone interested can, email [email protected] or swing by our box office (open 10am-2pm, Mon-Sat, closed Wednesdays) to grab a form!

Star performers coming to the Corn Exchange includ Philip Serrell, Charlie Ross, Charles Hanson and Christina Trevanion with “Antiques and a little bit of nonsense” on 29th September.

Rock Music specials this season are Wishbone Ash, Dr Feelgood, Robben Ford, Focus and disco legends The Real Thing.
