Kissmet, which has played Glastonbury six times, play Bhangra music, a mix of traditional Punjabi folk dance music and Western rock.

Ron, of Lincoln Road, Werrington said: “It’s brilliant, a chance for people to reconnect with what the band are doing. You can spent 10 years on the road and get more exposure in 10 minutes on TV.

“It was a lot of fun and we got to meet some brilliant bands.

“Peter was a good guy and Rhod was quite up for a laugh.”
