Tasker beatsthe champion
There were two outstanding performances by Peterborough Triathlon Club (PACTRAC) members.
Connor Walker continued his good form to finish third in a quality field in the Tristar Boys 2 race while Katie Tasker beat the current regional champion by 0.3 seconds to win the Tristar 3 Girls.

The Whittlesey Novice Triathlon held at the same time was won by Chris Jones from Ipswich with Laura Conway from Eye Community Runners the leading lady finisher.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The National Standard Distance Triathlon Championships (swim 1500m, bike 25 miles, run 6.25 miles) were held at Liverpool at the weekend.
PACTRAC results were:
282 Aaron Godden 2:22:34 (age group 35); 358 Andrea Robinett 2:25:54 (age group 10); 395 Steve Hope 2:28:13 (age group 15).
Mark Wethersby chose to compete in the accompanying sprint race and finished an impressive fourth overall, having already won the Cardiff Sprint Triathlon outright, earlier in theyear.

Hide AdMark was pipped by one second into third spot, losing out on the sprint finish. He clocked 1:10:46 and was second in his age group.
Nathan Tweedie raced in the Elite section and finished 16th in 57:40.
He had a great swim and was fifth away on the bike.
