Wilson-Dean said: “I’m as fit as I can be and ready to come back to Europe and race in 2021.

“In a way I’ve not missed anything due to Covid hitting everyone hard and the season in England being called off before it started.

“I really would love to be back with Peterborough next season, but realise the promotion have a few decisions to make regarding the team plans but I’m ready.”

Wilson-Dean, who celebrated his 26th birthday on Monday, is also keen to open up new opportunities by riding on the continent.

Headded: “Racing in Poland and possibly Sweden is still on my mind but I realise I need to start the ball rolling again over there.

“I’m still stinging from my previous experience in Poland as I felt I did nothing wrong in the meetings I rode.”

Speedway bosses are continuing to plan for an Easter start next year when crowds should be back in stadia.
