TOUCH RUGBY: Time to get in ‘Touch’ with Peterborough RUFC

Peterborough RUFC have added a ‘touch rugby’ section to their mens, veterans, ladies, boys and girls groups at Fengate.

The city club have joined forces with Yaxley Rugby to offer training sessions, fixtures and a greater social side to the club in a version of the sport that involves far less physical contact.

Three sessions per week will be available. Squad training starts tomorrow (March 31) and will continue on Wednesday evenings (7pm-9pm).

On Fridays (7-9pm) general sessions will take place with a summer league planned from May to August.

And on Saturdays it will be social touch and under 13 training (9am-10.30am).

There is no extra charge for PRUFC members.
