Ten-man Tigers and Deeping Rangers win cup ties

Ten-man Holbeach United and Deeping Rangers made progress in the United Counties League Cup last night (September 27).

Scott Mooney scored twice for Deeping at Huntingdon.

The Tigers were reduced to 10 men following a first-half red card for Josh Ford, but took the lead soon after when Billy Smith pounced after a Jack Smith shot had struck a post.

Sleaford never really looked like getting back into the game.

Deeping’s win wa sfar more comfortable. Scott Mooney and Callum Johnson both scored twice in a 5-0 win at Huntingdon Town. Danny Durkin also netted.
