Glamour tie for Peterborough Northern Star and cup matches for Yaxley, Stamford, Spalding and Wisbech

Peterborough Northern Star have a glamorous County Cup tie against AFC Rushden & Diamonds at the Branch Bros Stadium tonight (September 18, 7.45pm).

AFC Rushden & Diamonds are usually well supported so a decent crowd could gather for a first round tie in the Hillier Cup, a Northants FA competition.

Yaxley are also in County Cup action as they host lower level Huntingdon Town in a Hunts Senior Cup tie at In2itive Park.

And there’s Evo Stik Northern League Cup action for Stamford AFC, Spalding United and Wisbech Town.

Stamford host Mickleover Sports from the Premier Division which will mark the final Daniels appearance of long-serving player Jordan Smith who is to join United Counties Premier Division side Leicester Nirvana.

Spalding and Wisbech entertain fellow Division One East sides Belper Town and AFc Mansfield respectively.
