RUGBY: Borough start sweating next week

Action from Borough's last game of last season against Leicester Forest, which they won 93-7.

Training takes place at the club in Second Drove off Fengate and will continue every Tuesday and Thursday.

The Borough first team will again be playing in Midlands East Division Two (South) next season and are expecting to mount a promotion challenge with a stronger squad of players.

They have boosted their coaching team by signing Nico Steenkamp from city rivals Peterborough Lions. He will assist head coach Lee Adamson as a forwards coach.

The club will also field a second XV, possibly a third XV, and a veterans side plus a full compliment of junior teams.

Training is for anybody wishing to get fit ahead of the new campaign.
