Held at the Gladstone Park Community Centre—TKAP’s main Dojo—the event provided young athletes with a day defined by action, excitement, and community spirit.
The festivities kicked off with a high-level morning training session. The competitive spirit of the tournament was balanced by a rich variety of cultural and social attractions, including a karate display, cultural arts and a Christmas surprise.
The event welcomed Councillor Zameer Ali, who spoke on the vital role of the Gladstone Park Community Centre. Councillor Ali expressed his deep appreciation for TKAP’s commitment to inclusivity, noting the academy's success in providing children from all backgrounds a pathway for personal development.
Looking ahead, TKAP remains dedicated to promoting the values of traditional Japanese karate within the local community and beyond.
"Our next goal is clear," announced Sensei Pawel Kutermankiewicz, TKAP Head Coach. "We are now shifting our focus to preparing the TKFGB National Squad members training with our Academy for the 2026 Traditional Karate European Championships and the European Children’s Cup in Egypt."
