Oundle seek another 20/20 crown

There is still time for local clubs to enter the prestigious Jaidka Cup Twenty/20 competition for 2016.

Deadline for entries is February 28.

Nassington will be back to defend the trophy they won in thrilling fashion following a dramatic final against Market Deeping last summer.

Oundle Town have returned to the competition this year and will be formidable opposition.

Oundle are Twenty/20 specialists having won the Northants Twenty/20 Cup last season, as well as the Rutland League Twenty/20 competition for the second year running.

Burghley Park will not be taking part this season, but it’s still a powerful entry list that includes Cambs Division One big hitters Ramsey and Wisbech as well as former national finalists Peterborough Town.

Teams will again be divided into groups ahead of semi-finals and a final. The competition is due to start on Wednesday, May 11 with the final scheduled for Wednesday, June 29.

Entries: Barnack, Bourne, Castor, March Town, Market Deeping, Nassington, Oundle Town, Peterborough Town, Ramsey, Wisbech Town.
