Northants bowlers have reached a National Final for the second time in three years
Northants A have qualified for the final of the English Bowling Federation's Derbyshire Trophy for the second time in three years.
They defeated Norfolk 88-82 at Stamford on Sunday and the 10 points they accrued elevated them above southern section leaders Hunts and in the process ended Norfolk's title hopes.

They will now head to Lincoln on Saturday, April 25 for the final against the northern area winners hoping to win the indoor county championship for the fourth time.
It was a tense affair with little between the teams throughout the match, but Northants kept their nerve over the last few dramatic ends to claim their place in the final.
Rinks were shared at two piece with the Northants successes coming from the rinks of Chris Ballard, Brian Martin and Peter Brown (26-17) and Michael Humphreys, Wayne Morris and Adam Warrington (27-15).
Although the rink of Martyn Dolby, Mick Linnell and Graham Agger were beaten 25-22, they deserve credit for clawing their way back from a 13-0 deficit.
Result: Northants A 88 (10), NORFOLK 82 (4) - (Northants rinks only): Michael Humphreys, Wayne Morris, Adam Warrington won 27-15; Martyn Dolby, Mick Linnell, Graham Agger lost 22-25; Stuart Agger, Paul Dalliday, Simon Law lost 12-25; Chris Ballard, Brian Martin, Peter Brown won 26-17.
