Northants bowlers can book a place in a county final in Stamford on Sunday
Northants A can book a place in the English Bowling Federation's Derbyshire Trophy indoor county championship final at Lincoln in April with a victory over Norfolk at Stamford on Sunday morning.
With title holders Hunts suffering a shock 6-4 home defeat at the hands of North Essex, a team Northants defeated 14-0 the previous weekend, Northants need five of the 14 points on Sunday to overtake them at the top of the southern section and nine in total to put Norfolk's title hopes out of reach before their last match against North Essex.
Team captain Simon Law has named an unchanged team as Northants, the winners in 2024, seek a second final appearance in the space of three years.
Northants A: Stuart Agger, Paul Dalliday, Simon Law; Chris Ballard, Brian Martin, Peter Brown; Martyn Dolby, Mick Linnell, Graham Agger; Michael Humphreys, Wayne Morris, Adam Warrington.
