Hot start to Frostbite League for Yaxley Runners

Yaxley Runners finished fourth in the opening Frostbite League fixture as they continue to establish themselves as the top local club in the popular series of races.

Hunts AC have dominated the event for several years, and there was no change as they comfortably won both the senior and junior races at St Neots.

Peterborough & Nene Valley AC were low on numbers, but there was still some quality on show with Zak Stevens finishing in seventh place in the senior race.

Darren Wells was the first Yaxley man home, finishing in 13th place. Elijah Goodwin of Thorney finished 18th.
