Hemmings siblings remain hot as Nene Valley athletes perform well in the Kettering Open

The Hemmings siblings continue to set high standards as Louie and Evie improved their 1,500m personal best (PB) times for the second successive weekend.

The Peterborough Nene Valley youngsters were among a contingent of five who travelled to Kettering for an open meeting and pleasingly every race run by the quintet delivered them a new PB.

Evie Hemmings clocked 5:12.27 in the 1,500m with her 10 year old brother Louie not far behind with 5:16.20.

Sprinter Russell Dowers tried the 800m for the first time and recorded an impressive 2:16.23.Sean Garmory clocked 12.68 over 100m, and 36.93 when finishing runner up over 300m, while under 15 Sienna Slater ran a 13.25 100m.
