City of Peterborough Ladies have a Broadway star

City of Peterborough Ladies first XI ended a three-game losing streak in the East Premier Division with a 3-2 win at Dereham (January 25).

Jess Broadway was the star of the show with a hat-trick, but there was also a superb debut display from 15 year-old Stamford School student Leonie Hart.

First-team regular Adam Wilson scored twice for City of Peterborough mens seconds in a thrilling 5-4 win over Cambridge University in the East Premier A Division.

Chris Clarkson also scored twice with Nathan Foad completing the scoring for City who are now third.

City fourths made it 12 wins from 14 Division Three North West games with a 3-1 success over St Ives seconds at Bretton Gate. Gary Hales, Andrew Cave and Simon Buckley scored for City who are second, two points behind leaders Cambridge University, but with a game in hand.

Peter Hings and James Law scored the goals as City eighths beat Spalding fifths 2-1 in Division Six North West.
