Bowler Brett into the World Indoor singles final as he chases historic treble.

Local bowler Nicky Brett Nick Brett is through to the World indoor singles final at Potters Resort tomorrow afternoon (January 26) where he will face England colleague Robert Paxton.

The 2016 champion, bidding for a unique hat-trick of titles at these championships having already won the pairs and mixed pairs, defeated Wales’ Jason Greenslade 8-7, 8-5 in the semi-finals.

World number eight Paxton, who will be in the same England team as Brett for World Bowls in Australia this summer, reached the final with an 8-5, 10-1 win over England’s Les Gillett.
