Peterborough Phantoms have signed an experienced Canadian forward
Peterborough Phantoms have signed Candian forward Adam Berg for the 2026-27 season.
The 29-year-old from Calgary, Alberta, started his career in his homeland before playing for Cincinnati Cyclones and the Utah Grizzlies in the United States.

He has experience of British hockey though, from a short spell with the Nottingham Panthers collecting one point in nine games for the Elite League side in the 2024-25 seasons.
He began last season with the Grizzlies but then made the move back into Europe with Hammer Eisbären in Germany and he has the unenviable task of replacing fellow Canadian Cam Hough who broke the National League scoring record with Phantoms last season.
Berg told the Phantoms website: ““I can’t wait to get started in Peterborough as I’ve heard great things about the city and the organization. Super excited to meet my teammates, the staff and the fans.”
Phantoms Head Coach, Ashley Tait, added: “I’m looking forward to working with Adam. I think he’ll give us useful experience as well as the depth and grit at both ends of the ice that we were maybe missing last year.”
