Peterborough Phantoms complete a perfect 10
The city side triumphed 4-1 on the road against Sheffield Steeldogs to remain on the fringes of the NIHL National Division title race.
Martins Susters provided the breakthrough in the final minute of the opening period and the same player then doubled the advantage early in the second period.

Hide AdSusters tipped in a powerplay blast from Conor Pollard and that was followed by a third Phantoms goal less than two minutes later as Will Weldon pounced in a scramble.
Steeldogs cut their arrears when former Phantoms man James Spurr struck just before the mid-point of the contest, but they could make no further inroads.
And Phantoms’ 10th consecutive victory – a wonderful run featuring eight league successes and both legs of an NIHL National Cup semi-final against Hull – was wrapped up by player-coach Tom Norton in the final period.
Phantoms remain eight points behind leaders Telford who triumphed 3-2 at Swindon in a top-of-the-table showdown last night.
