Hampton sisters star at national level tennis tournament
Isabelle (14), who is Cambs number one for her age group, finished a decent sixth place in the under 14 event with May (10) finishing an excellent seventh in the under 10 competition, her first taste of tennis at this level.
May would have finished higher, but for failing to convert match points against the girls who finished second and third.

Both girls are coached by their father Chris, a head of PE in St Ives. They practice for approximately 20 hours a week and they both represent Cambridgeshire County Tennis which involves weekly trips to Hills Road in Cambridge to train as well as regular tournaments at weekends.
They have both won local as well as regional tournaments and are hoping to make the next step to national winners.
The sisters live in Hampton and are members at Longthorpe Tennis Club and the David Lloyd Tennis Centre at Thorpe Wood.
