Tricky and tough start to the season for Peterborough Sports, plus Stamford AFC news
Peterborough Sports start their 2026-27 Southern Premier Division Central season at newly-promoted Racing Club Warwick on Saturday, August 8.
The teams were two divisions apart last season as Sports were competing at National League North level.
Sports have a tough opening home game on Tuesday, April 11 when Real Bedford, who lost an exciting play-off final to Spalding United last season, visit PIMS Park.
The local derbies between Sports and Stamford AFC take place at PIMS Park on November 7 and the Zeeco Stadium on February 20. Sports are now managed by long-time Stamford boss Graham Drury.
Stamford will travel to Stourbridge on opening day before hosting Bury Town on August 11.
