'The Hares' are setting the pace, city sides beaten at home, Stones off the mark, deja vu for Deeping Rangers
March Town are the early-season pacesetters in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division.
‘The Hares’ made it two wins out of two with a handsome 3-0 midweek success at Soham Town Rangers. Rio Henson scored twice with Toby Allen also on target.

Netherton United failed to win their second Division One North match in a row. They went down 4-3 at home to local rivals FC Parson Drove after failing to take advantage of a fast start at ‘The Grange.’
Freddie Hooke opened the scoring for the city side after just two minutes and Adulai Balde made it 2-0 shortly afterwards, but Drove turned the game around before the break by scoring four times. Jordan Neil pulled one back in the second-half, but that was the end of the scoring.
Blackstones are off the mark in the United Counties Premier Division North after a 3-1 home success over Aylestone Park. Callum Davies scored early for Stones before Josh Sennett and Johan Coughlan added second-half strikes after the visitors had equalised.
It was deja vu for Deeping Rangers though. For the second game in a row they took the lead before losing 2-1. Gregg Smith had opened the scoring at Skegness Town from the penalty spot in the eighth minute.
In the Premier Division South FC Peterborough have endured a bumpy start to a higher level. Two home games have yielded zero points as Desborough Town left the MIllfield Autos Stadium with a midweek 3-1 win. The visitors led 2-0 at the break before Derrick Dadzie pulled a goal back early in the second-half only for Desborough to seal the points 20 minutes from time.
Yaxley have now played their first game at this level, a 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Sileby Rangers.
