Whittlesey had two successful seasons in 2020-21 and 2021-22 reaching Division One of the Eastern Region League before folding.

But Dan Zenchuk of Danzen Logistics brought the ladies team back as part of his wider sponsorship deal of the club. The men, who compete in Division One North of the Thurlow Nunn League, and ladies play at the Danzen Logistics Stadium.

Certainly step seven is holing no terrors for the team. They are five points clear at the top of the Cambs League Premiership after just five games, all of which have been won with a for and against record of 49-0!

Emma Pollard has scored 27 of those goals and she added four more in a 9-0 League Cup win over Cambridge University seconds at the weekend.

Jenna Nairn scored twice with former Posh player Taylor Dean, Leah Barnes and Hannah Murphy also on target.
