Stamford AFC lose a striker, but gain a midfielder in their battle against relegation
Stamford AFC have lost striker Jack Duffy from their battle against relegation from the Southern Premier Division Central.
Duffy, whose time at the Zeeco Stadium was often explosive in front of goal and in terms of discipline, is set to join division rivals Quorn. The centre-forward recently returned from a 20-game suspension, but was sent off in his last appearance against Stourbridge.

Stamford, who are four points and two places from safety, host in-form Banbury United on Saturday (3pm kick off) and could welcome midfielder Joe Burgess back after a long injury absence.
Title-chasing Spalding United are also entertaining title-chasing opponents in fourth-placed Redditch United.
Bourne Town start a run of key matches in their fight against the drop from the Northern Premier Midlands Division when fellow strugglers Loughborough Students visit The Abbey Lawns (3pm).
Struggling Yaxley FC, whose ground is back under community control, have a tough United Counties Premier Division South home game against leaders Nuneaton.
